What are some of your hobbies and interests? Crosswords, Playing my drum, Rubik’s Cubing, Graphic Design, Consumer Psychology, Grape Flavoring, Plant Life, Hats, Exchanging awesome music with other people.
What is your favorite song to sing in the Loreleis? “Winding Road.” Man oh man; those “werr werr nows” were my favorite things to sing. EVER. But all sarcasm aside, it was probably “Death by Chocolate.”
What are your plans for after graduation? I plan to further manipulate our obese and lazy country into spending even more money on things they don’t need…and then I’ll leave the US and retire elsewhere.
What is your favorite television show? It’s a tie between Lost and South Park.
If you could switch lives with any person in the world for one day, who would it be? I hate this question. In this moment, probably either Lady Gaga or Andrew VanWyngarden from MGMT. My answer will probably change in a week.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be? The ability to sing A2.
If you could go back in time and relive an episode of your life (changing it or simply repeating it), what part of your life would you travel to? The ‘90s. Some of the most iconic artists of my generation were making legends of themselves right in front of my eyes, and I completely took them for granted because I was so young. Even as a kid though, I had this inkling that something big was going down in the music world. Every time bands like Nirvana or the Chili Peppers would come on the radio, I would become completely immersed, even at age 7. I would love nothing more than to be able to relive those years as a child with the appreciation and reverence for music that I have now.
So.. where exactly is Waldo? He’s hanging out with the Leprechaun from Alabama. SAY YEEEEEEAHHHH!!!
What is your favorite Loreleis moment? The minutes right before our concerts where we all take a deep breath and just look at each other like “We are about to rock faces tonight. Word.”
Leave us a quote of inspiration or personal significance.
“The singer steps forward. He is not a tour-sung hero. He’s not the embodiment of a soul brother. The unassuming troubadour sings to himself softly, and not a word escapes his lips. They don’t even try. His words would rather stay with him as long as possible, but his melody is for me and you.” –Jump Little Children
