What is your favorite song to sing in the Loreleis? “One Fine Wire” or “These Dreams”
What are some of your hobbies and interests? Politics, living vicariously through television, Ancient Egypt, old movies, Whole Foods, crossing things off lists, enjoying North Carolina’s beautiful weather, Jon Stewart, and the Oxford Comma.
What is your favorite late night spot at UNC? YoPo. It’s open until like 11:30, but it still counts.
What is your perfect rainy day? Getting to read the entire “New York Times,” drinking hot chocolate, watching a Gene Kelly movie marathon, and splashing in puddles while wearing cute rain boots.
What’s your favorite pop-culture moment from this past year? Anything that happened on “The Office.” Literally. Anything.
If you could sum yourself up in one word, what word would that be? Well, my goal in life is to be a “deipnosophist,” which is someone who excels at dinner-table conversation. So… that, I guess.
If you could switch lives with any person in the world for one day, who would it be? Michelle Obama. Smart, chic, and looks great in orange. Also, the husband is not too shabby.
Linda’s cheese fries or Linda’s spinach dip? Spinach dip.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be? Being able to apparate. It would solve both my terminal lateness and my inability to walk any distance without tripping over myself.
If the Loreleis could perform anywhere in the world, where would you choose? The Eiffel Tower, especially when the lights go crazy and it looks like it’s made of glitter.
What is your favorite dance that is correlated to a song? I have to say the “Cha Cha Slide,” if just for the seventh grade bat mitzvah nostalgia factor. Seriously, who didn’t look forward to the “Everybody clap your hands!” part? Frankly, I still enjoy that.
